The season of Lent begins on Ash Wednesday, 26 February. We shall mark the occasion with a service of Holy Communion in church at 7.30pm.
For our Lent devotions this year we shall be using the Archbishop of Canterbury’s Lent book: ‘Saying Yes to Life’ which helps us to reflect on creation and our role in its sustainability. Lent groups will take place each Tuesday evening at the vicarage and Thursday morning in the church room.
We shall be serving pancakes in the church porch, as last year, from about 3.30pm on 25 February.
Church Book Table
‘Thank you’ to those who buy and donate books on the table at the back of church. We’d be glad of more children’s and hobbies books and novels. No war or detective books needed at present. Books can be placed in the empty box under the table. Thank you.
