Over the six weeks of Lent we shall be thinking about where our ‘front line’ is and how God might work in and through us right where we are.
Join us on Tuesday evenings from 7.30pm at the Vicarage or Thursday mornings after Communion at 10.15am in church.
Our annual meeting is on 14 April after worship. We need to elect two churchwardens (Debbie is happy to be re-elected, Teena is standing down), a new Deanery Synod representative to serve for one year and two church councillors. We are especially in need of someone to take on the role of treasurer.
Please give these roles your prayerful consideration and use the nomination forms in church.
We are invited to this year’s service at the Cathedral on Tuesday 16 April at 11am. Holy Oils are blessed by the bishop and the clergy of the diocese renew their vows. Please let Nick know if you would like to attend.Free lunch included!
A day to explore how we might better share the Good News of Jesus takes place on Saturday 11 May at Swallowbeck Church, 10am to 3.30pm. See separate leaflet for details.
