Jonathan returns to St Giles at 4.30pm on Saturday 22 September for this year’s organ recital. Free entry. All welcome. Spread the word.
We shall celebrate Harvest on Sunday 23 September. Gifts of preserved foods and dry goods would be welcome. We’ll give them to the food larder at the Methodist Church. We’ll also take a cash collection that morning for the Lincoln Food Larder. ‘Faith, Fun and Food, at 4pm will continue the Harvest theme.
The rest of the year you can leave dried goods for the food larder in the box by the church door.
This summer has been especially hard on families. No school meals and the purchase of school uniforms have strained many budgets and the food banks have been busy.
We next join with our Methodist friends in worship at 10.30am on Sunday 30 September at the chapel.
Children’s Society boxes
Margret Glover would be glad to receive your Children’s Society boxes in the church room at 10am on Saturday 22 September for this year’s open and count.
